What Use Is A Pub
Quiz With No Questions?
The questions are the
most important ingredient in running a pub quiz - they are like
the yeast in beer. Without yeast, just isn't beer.
Just like beers have
different names and tastes, you can have different types of pub
quiz questions. No longer are you limited to just a few general
knowledge type questions, with modern technology you can now have
many different themes and types of quizes*.
Types Of Pub Quiz
Theme Quizzes -
you can have a pub quiz for almost any occasion or event,
from World Cup football to St. George's Day, St. Patrick's Day,
Christmas, Easter and the list goes on and on.
In fact, these days,
the hardest part of running a pub quiz, is deciding on the type
and style of the quiz.
For instance do you want a picture round, or a "Smell Round",
the week's news or a Bingo Quiz. Or even a film quiz or a politics
round.
When choosing the quiz theme and type fro your pub or bar, you
really need to think who is likely to be taking part in the quiz.
Younger people will want more general knowledge mixed with some
sport and current music.
If the quiz is aimed at the shall we say slightly older end of
the market, then you can include questions going back to the 1950s,
60s and 70s as well.
